Holland Road Book Cover

This was personally a very impactful project for me: I love working on print and book projects, but I've seen this one come to life over the past 7 years and was so honored that my sister chose me to design it.

As I thought about this project, the most important part was that it represented her well and supported her vision for the book. And that it picked up on Richard's struggle and the themes of home, family, redemption, and hope.

The most special part is that I collaborated on this with my grandmother, Shirley H. Schwab. She died at the end of 2017 but left us with so much beautiful original watercolor art, and being a Mainer herself, the paintings were perfect for a set-in-Maine story.
